Meanwhile, two firms, SYSTRA MVA Consulting (India) and STUP – RITES JV, have been selected as detailed design consultants for Package DDC-03 of Pune Metro Phase 1A. This package covers the design of 2 stations on the Aqua line extension from Vanaz to Chandni Chowk (1.5 km) and 11 stations on the 12 km extension between Ramwadi to Wagholi, excluding the viaduct in station portions. The appointed consultant will be responsible for producing and proposing alternative designs for all civil, architectural, building services, electrical, and mechanical works. The Aqua Line (Line 2) is currently operational from Vanaz to Ramwadi, spanning 14.665 km through 16 stations.
