necessary to spread itself upto these areas. It has demanded that plans be made to spread railway tracks to these districts so that people from these states get connected through railway to different parts of the country. The letter states that Jharkhand is a high revenue earning area for India railway, but it has been divided among different zones which have their headquarters in other states. Zonal headquarters too, despite earning huge revenue from Jharkhand, rarely care for developmental works concerning Jharkhand. The organization thus demands a separate Railway zone to be curved out of areas in Jharkhand with its headquarters in Ranchi. Also it has demanded to follow up the State supported railway lines, construction of railway over-bridges and others that have remained incomplete since years. A suggestion has also come for setting up of 100-bed hospitals in places like Ranchi, Dhanbad, Jasidih and Barkakana.
