event will also be a platform for meeting the decision makers and senior officials of ICF and other Indian Railway production units. The rolling stock designs including interiors, passenger amenities and other comfort features will also be on display.
International exhibition of such scale in connection with focus on railway passenger coaches is said to be held for the first time in India.
Many reputed rail car and equipment builders will be showcasing their technology and products. It will be a unique platform to bring different suppliers under one roof and create synergy for ‘Make in India.’ While there will be more than 100 exhibitors from over 10 countries, the expo will be open for public viewing between 3 pm and 6 pm on 17 and 18 May.
Conferences and seminars on specialised subjects on rail coach and train sets will be organised during the exposition.
