Train and flight services in national capital were affected this morning due to foggy weather conditions in the city, with the minimum temperature plummeting by one notch below normal. The foggy weather has created trouble for the air, rail and road commuters. One train got cancelled, five were rescheduled and 24 Delhi-bound trains were running late.
The flight services remained largely unaffected as only eight domestic and six international flights were delayed.
The minimum temperature dropped from yesterday's 7.2 degree Celsius to 6.6 degree C, the seasons lowest recorded so far.
official of the IMD here said the maximum temperature is likely to settle at 23 degree C.
However, similar condition will persist tomorrow morning with a slight increase in the minimum temperature.
