Making a railway line from Bengaluru to Chamarajanagar won't work. If the railways want to increase tourism, they should approve 2 new lines:
1) A new line from Bengaluru to Mysuru via Kanakapura, Malavalli and Bannur (running parallel to NH 948 from Bengaluru to Malavalli and parallel to SH 33 from Malavalli to Mysuru). Kanakapura can be used by people who want to visit Sangama, Mekadatu and Muttathi, Malavalli for viewing Shivanasamudra, and Bannur for seeing Somanathapura Temple.
2) A line from Mysuru to Kollegal via Tirumakudlu Narasipura (parallel to NH 766). Tirumakudlu Narasipura has Kabini and Kaveri Sangama, a tourist spot, and this line passes through Talakadu, another tourist destination. Kollegal can be used for people who want to visit Male Mahadeshwara Betta and Biligiri Ranganatha Betta.
