According to the railways, cyber thugs send a call or MSMS to get the refund issued to the passengers as soon as possible after ticket cancellation. Whereas after e-ticket cancellation, the refund process is fully automatic.

In such a situation, whenever customers receive such call or SMS, they should not share other confidential information like bank account number, debit card, credit card, ATM PIN, PIPIN, CVV and UPI details. According to the railway, railway officials never contact a passenger for all these confidential information through calls or SMS. According to the railway, the refund amount is also automatically credited to the same account, with the help of which the railway ticket is booked.

It may be known that the number of trains has been continuously increasing since the last days of lockdown due to Corona crisis. Festive season passengers have received 392 special trains. Travelers are departing from one city to another city and state for Chhath, Diwali and Durga Puja. In such a situation, you can avoid cheating by taking these precautions when you cancel a train ticket.
