The days of normal fare special trains are over. Almost all the special trains are introduced today are invariably the special fare ones and most of the above trains appears to have avg speeds equal to the other S/F trains on the route, akin to the premium trains introduced earlier. Just another indirect means adopted by IR to raise fares.
The term "special fare" presents a hazy picture, does it mean different fares for different trains or Suvidha fares or some other fare structure?
