3rd, 2023, when Babu was on duty. He was released near Jharsuguda in Odisha after the kidnappers withdrew a substantial amount of money from his account. Babu filed a complaint with the SSP Kishor Kaushal on November 7th, 2023, seeking protection from the kidnappers, who are identified as Ashish Kumbhkar, Sachin Sagar, and Santosh Bahadur. Babu fears for his life as he received threats from the kidnappers after joining duty on November 4th, 2023. SSP assured him that he will investigate the incident and take action against the perpetrators.

Babu ne 7 November ko SSP Kishor Kaushal se milkar aapna shikayat ki, aur kidnappers se suraksha mangi. Unhone aropiyoun ka naam bataya – Ashish Kumbhkar, Sachin Sagar, aur Santosh Bahadur. Babu ne bataaya ki unhe 4 November ko duty join karne ke baad fir se dhamki mili hai. SSP ne unhe aaswaasan diya ki woh incident ki jaanch karenge aur aropiyoun ke khilaf action lenge.
