these stations received training on food preparation and handling practices. A third-party agency assessed their adherence to these practices, leading to the certification. This certification signifies that passengers can now enjoy clean and safe food at these stations. The Pune division of the Food and Drug Administration implemented this initiative with support from Marico India Company's social responsibility fund. The initiative was coordinated by Narayan Sarkate and supported by Sudhir Kumar, the Central Food Safety Officer at Pune railway station.
