Singh, stated that his father had been undergoing treatment for a neurological condition. The Narayapur outpost in-charge, Jaideep Singh, sent the body for post-mortem examination. The station house officer, Amit Mishra, confirmed the incident, stating that a man died after being hit by a freight train while crossing the railway tracks.
