Mumbai was the first city in Asia to get trains in 1853 (inaugural run was from Bori Bunder (erstwhile BBVT, presently CSMT) to Tannah (TNA, presently Thane) at 15:55 on 16th April). If the Railways can't find a solution to water logging on tracks in all these 165 years+ (State and local govts never giving a helping hand, be it dumping garbage into Railways property or encroaching on Railways property in a bid to get lusty compensation in the name of PPP (Project Affected People) or even defecating openly on Railways property -- LOL Swatchh Bharat), this will never get resolved.
