Running a 100 crore trainset for only 6 hours a day is waste of resources , railway board will never agree so better to search a long route like Mumbai nagpur
Mumbai to Shirdi in 3 hrs looks impossible for now, as tracks are not fit, CSMT-KSRA is 105 kmph fit, KSRA-IGP 60 kmph and rest is 110 kmph. Rajdhani does CSMT-NK is 2 hrs 40 mins, and it is unlikely that T-18 will better it my much. Best to best, it can do CSMT-Shirdi in 5 hrs. Same as you can do in a car.
Mumbai-NGP is possibility once IGP-NGP track is upgraded to at least 130. Durontos do the distance is 11 hrs. T-18 may be able to better is by about 2 to 2.5 hr. Again sitting close to 9 hrs may not attract many more pax. Once tracks do get upgraded, travel time can be brought down to 8...
