Barely a week after the deadly railway accident killing 127 people, took place near Kanpur, another mishap was averted at Bihar Bhagalpur. This time Delhi-Dibrugarh Rajdhani Express was on its way when it crossed the broken track near Khagria in Western Hardayal Nagar on Barauni-Katihar railway section. Fortunately, it escaped the mishaps soon after the train crossed the broken tracks, locals of the area found out that down track is damaged.
Live News The locals immediately informed to the railway staff after which the track was blocked for some time. Railways engineered repaired the track, but due to the repair work, many trains remained stranded on Khagria station. The Railway officials blamed the weather for the damage on track. Officials said that since,
weather is on the course of change, the tracks withstand heat in day and cold at nights. Although the track has been  repaired, but an advisory has been issued by railways that maximum speed on trains on the repaired track shouldn't exceed 30 kms/h.
