The Kukke Shree Subrahmanya-Mangalore Railway Commuters Forum, Puttur, has opposed the revised departure timing of Train No. 56645, Mangaluru Central-Kabaka Puttur at 6.10 p.m. instead of the earlier 6.25 pm. In a memorandum forum organiser Sudarshan Puttur has said that the revised timing is affecting working class passengers, who are unable to reach the Central station at 6.10 p.m.
The train now halts for eight minutes at Bantwal station, he said. The revision is effected without any demand and hence the Railways should restore the earlier departure timing, he demanded, attaching a list of passengers with signatures.
