is station ke khatam hone aur local trains ke rukne ka be sabri se intezaar hai. Gavan is Uran-Nerul/Belapur local route ka panchwa station hai. Is station ka construction land acquisition se judhi samasyaon ki wajah se der se shuru hua tha, jisme prabhavit kisaano ko muawaje ke liye bhoomi dene ke mamle mein vivaad bhi shamil tha. Is der ki wajah se passengers ko Khargopa station tak jaana pad raha hai. Gavan station ke khulne ki koi confirmed date nahin hai, aur Khargopa-Nerul/Belapur route par Targhar station ko bhi aisi hi der ka saamna karna pada tha. Railway officials ne station ke progress ke baare mein koi jaankari nahin hone ka daava kiya hai.
