25.05.2020. During the current lockdown period, Indian Railways uninterruptedly operating freight and parcel services to ensure supply of essential commodities across the Nation. To fulfil this endeavour, South Central Railway is continuously running both freight and parcel trains with particular focus on essential commodities like food grains, milk & milk products, fruits, fish, eggs and other perishable items by introducing innovative concepts like Dhood Duronto specials, Jai Kisan freight trains etc. By taking the advantage of less traffic on the tracks due to the lockdown, the Zone has expedited the works related to commencement of operations of these new PFTs to enhance the freight loading basket of SCR. M/s Lakshmi Narasimha Infra Pvt Ltd at Nagireddypalli Railway Station of Yadadri Bhongir District, Telangana was commissioned on 08.05.2020 by despatching the first freight train loaded with boiled rice of 2,400 tonnes to Arakkonam junction in Tamilnadu. The traffic offered for transporting from this goods PFT was earlier moved by road from various warehouses located in surrounding areas of this Station. This PFT will serve the customers hailing from Yadadri Bhongir, Jangaon and Nalgonda districts for transportation of food grains by Rail. Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Warehousing & PFT Pvt. Ltd at Kaukuntla Railway Station of Mahbubnagar District, Telangana has started its operations on 25th May 2020. The first freight train was loaded with boiled rice of 2400 tonnes was dispatched from this terminal to Erode station in Tamilnadu. The warehouse with a capacity 1.3 lakh metric tons established inside the PFT was taken over by Food Corporation of India for a period of 3 years for preserving and transportation of food grains by rail to different parts in the Southern States as well as Northern parts of the country. This PFT will serve as nearest Rail head for the districts of Mahbubnagar, Wanaparthy, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nagar Kurnool for transportation of food grains and other essential commodities by Rail. Shri Gajanan Mallya, General Manager, South Central Railway expressed his happiness in bringing two new PFTs into operation and appreciated the Officers and staff for their efforts in making this a reality in the prevailing tough time. He also opined that these two new PFTs in Telangana will immensely help in transportation of food grains by Rail to different parts of the country and assists in enhancing freight loading of the Zone.

of 555 patients have been treated in this hospital. Out of which, 341 cases were positive and 179 patients have been discharged after cure. Another 150 suspected cases were also discharged after treatment. By playing an important role in the successfull & effectivemedical management of Coronavirus pandemic & affected patients, JRH has turned as an elixir of life for many patients and their families. According to a press release issued by Shri Ravinder Bhakar - Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, patients at Jagjivan Ram Hospital are admitted from triage area with proper history and counseling for both patients and relatives. The dedicated team of medical staff, performing as the brave corona warriors at the frontline, comprises of Doctors - Dr. Alpa, Dr. Shishir, Dr. Sharan and Dr. Savita, Resident Doctors - Dr. Snehal, Dr. Om, Dr. Siddika, Dr. Sravankumar, Dr. Rhishikesh and Dr. Kalyani alongwith other staff including Shri Shailesh, Ms. Reshma, Shri Sanjay Singh, Shri Ganesh and Shri Raju. For indoor patients and staff working in isolation wards these are some of the ways JRH is taking of them as well as ways lift their spirits during this tough hour: 1.Hot and cold water dispenser have been arranged for staff and patients. A20 liters water dispenser has been kept at each ward and 1 liter water bottle is also given to each and every patient daily morning and evening. 2.Delivery of home cooked food arrangement is done for patients thrice a day. The food is given to patients in disposable containers to maintain proper hygiene. 3.Smartphones are provided at each floor for better management of patients. ECG , X-RAY, lab investigation reports etc. are communicated through smart phones. Consultationis also done with outside consultants, thereby developing bettercommunication between isolation team and consultant to manage cases. 4.Patients are making video calls to near and dear ones and the relatives are apprised about the patient’ s health . 5.Doctors, Nursing and other paramedics are doing 8 hrs duty for 7 days followed by 7 days under quarantine and observation. 6.Arrangement of accommodation of 180 staff is done at Mumbai Central, Dadar, Marine Lines and two hotels at Fort. Food arrangements are made for staff and doctors. For transportation of staff, mini bus is also hired. 7.There are teams of doctors and paramedics on each floor. Staff and doctors are doing extraordinary work with fulldedication and because of their human touch, empathy andsincere work, a positive environment is created in the isolation ward when dealing with patients and patients feel relaxed. 8.Psychologicalsupport is also given by Psychiatrist and Clinical Psychologist by taking rounds and giving counseling by talking to patients to improve their mental health. Shri Bhakar also stated that while the dedication & hardwork is commendable, it is equally important to protect the protectors and for this special beds are also being kept reserved for hospital staff/ healthcareworkers in case they contract the infection while giving care. Provision of air conditioning has been made at more wards where feasible natural ventilation with large windows on opposite sides are available in the rest of the wards.

Some of these reviews are as follows where the husband of a cancer patient from NFR who was taking cancer treatment at Tata Hospital, got COVID +ve. Her husband is now cured and discharged and left for West Bengal by Shramik train and they praised thewhole team of JRH for giving good care with humanly behavior. Some patients including a Mumbai Police Constable have posted on social media website - Facebook about the good behavior of staff and top class clinical treatment at JRH. Another patient was so happy after having video call at home and was praising whole team of JRH. These are just some of the ways the devoted teams of doctors and medical staff have deeply affected the lives of many who have battled the deadly Coronavirus, where the JRH team became their saviours. Out of these 100 pairs, South Eastern Railway will run 9 pairs of Special Trains originating from Howrah, Shalimar, Tatanagar and Ranchi towards Mumbai, Yesvantpur, Bhubaneswar, Ahmedabad, Secunderabad, Danapur, Barbil and Patna with effect from 1st June, 2020. This train will run every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday w.e.f 02.06.2020 from Howrah. In the opposite direction, the train will run every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday w.e.f. 04.06.2020 from Yesvantpur. The train will run as per the route, timings and stoppages of 12245/12246 Howrah-Yesvantpur- Howrah Duronto Express.
This train will run from Shalimar every Monday, Wednesday and Friday w.e.f. 01.06.2020. In the return direction, the train will run from Patna every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday w.e.f. 02.06.2020. The train will run as per the route, timings and stoppages of 22213/22214 Shalimar- Patna- Shalimar Duronto Express.

These apart, three more trains originating/terminating in SER jurisdiction viz. 02703/02704 Howrah-Secunderabad-Howrah Special, 02073/02074 Howrah-Bhubaneswar-Howrah Special and 02365/02366 Patna-Ranchi-Patna Special will also be introduced as per the timings and stoppage of the regular identical train.
Some Salient features and Guidelines for passengers :-
·Online E-ticketing will be done through IRCTC Website or through Mobile App. Tickets are also available in selected PRS counters opened on 22.05.2020.
·ARP (Advance Reservation Period) will be maximum 30 days.
·Both AC and Non AC coaches will be available.
·No unreserved tickets will be issued. General coaches will be also reserved with allotted seats for sitting.
·RAC and waitlisted tickets will be available.
·No Tatkal and premium Tatkal bookings is allowed.
·Waitlisted passengers are not allowed to board/travel.
·Face cover/mask and Arogya Setu app is compulsory.
·Passenger should reach 90 minutes before the scheduled departure of train.
·Only asymptomatic passengers would be allowed to travel. Full refund to all symptomatic passengers.
·Packed food items and water will be available on payment in the pantry cars, if attached to train.
