The Commissioner of Railway Safety shall conduct an inspection of the accident site on 21.08.2017 with regard to Derailment of Train No. 18477 Puri – Haridwar Utkal Kalinga Express between Khatuali-Mansurpur stations of the Delhi-Saharanpur section of Delhi Division of Northern Railway that took place on 19.08.2017. Further, the Commissioner of Railway Safety shall also hold the Statutory Inquiry into the aforesaid accident in terms of Sec.114 of the Indian Railways Act, 1989.
