1)Train No. 15906 Dibrugarh – Kanyakumari Express Train which left Dibrugarh o­n 12thAugust, 2017 scheduled to depart Guwahati at 11:45 hrs today i.e 13th August, 2017 is rescheduled to depart Guwahati at 18:00 hrs o­n the same day ( as stated earlier vide SCR PR No.292 ).

Trains Short Terminated:
1)Train No. 12513 Secunderabad – Guwahati Express which left Secunderabad at 07.30 hrs o­n 13th August, 2017 is short terminated at Visakhapatnam station.

Indian Railways will observe a fortnight long Swachhta Pakhwada, ‘Swachh Rail-Swachh Bharat’ from 16th to 31stAugust, 2017 o­n its entire network. As a part of the same, South Central Railway has drawn up a plan to observe the Swachhta Pakhwada, the Mission Cleanliness Drive all over the Zone from 16th to 31stAugust, 2017 o­n its entire network, spanning across all the six Divisions of Secunderabad, Hyderabad, Guntakal, Vijayawada, Guntur and Nanded.

16th August, 2017. The fortnight long cleanliness drive will see each day marked for different activities to be taken up. The Swachhta Pakhwada will involve various stake holders including the railway officers/staff, rail family members, travelling public, NGOs, schools, religious bodies etc.,
Each day of the Swachhta Pakhwada has been earmarked for a special initiative including Swachh Awareness, Swachh Samwad, Swachh Stations, Swachh Trains, Swachh Work Place, Swachh Residential Premises, Swachh Food, Swachh Water, Swachh Toilets etc.,
Street Plays, Workshops, Training Programs, Seminars, Painting and Poster Competitions, Feed Back from Public etc., are planned to be taken up during the Swachhta Pakhwada.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, SCR will run two special trains between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam as detailed below:-
Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam superfast special train will depart Secunderabad at 20:15 hrs o­n 15th August, 2017 (Tuesday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06:30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad superfast special train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19:45 hrs o­n 16th August, 2017 (Wednesday) and arrive Secunderabad at 06:45 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Warangal, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both the directions.
These special trains will have 23 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, thirteen Sleeper Class, o­ne Second Class Sitting, two General Second Class and two Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
