the preparations for the ceremony have been done at Bhagalpur station. The Bhagalpur-Jayanagar Express special train rack has also reached Bhagalpur. The train has been decorated. Reservation for travel by train has started from 22 January itself. Till now there was no direct train from Bhagalpur to Darbhanga. Passengers had to go to Muzaffarpur before holding public service. Travelers had to travel to Darbhanga or Madhubani via bus from Muzaffarpur. Many passengers used to go from Muzaffarpur in the morning as it was night. In this way the journey used to be of two days. On going by Bhagalpur-Jayanagar Express, the train will open from Bhagalpur at 7.50 am and reach Jayanagar at 4.05 pm. Similarly, the train from Jayanagar will open at 8.30 pm and reach Bhagalpur at 5.15 am the next day.

A large number of Mithilanchal people live in Bhagalpur and they keep visiting. Due to no direct train, such people have been traveling by road. Now there will be no such problem. This train will run via Munger Route. Therefore, apart from Bhagalpur, the passengers of Munger will also benefit. All classes of seats will be reserved in this daily running train as long as it will be operated as a special train. This train has 672 seats for second seating, 142 seats for sleeper, 30 seats for AC three and 24 seats for AC two. The fare for second seating is Rs 130 from Bhagalpur to Jayanagar, Rs 210 to Sleeper, Rs 520 to AC Three and Rs 735 to AC Two.
