Railway Minister positive for Rotegaon-Kopargaon new railway line. No transfer of NED Division from "SCR" to "CR". Assures new train from AWB to NDLS.

President of Marathwada Railway Vikas Samiti, Mr. O.P. Varma, met RM Mr. Suresh Prabhu and handed him a letter of demands written in his own blood. In a detailed discussion, the RM assured him about the Rotegaon-Kopargaon new railway line after learning that it will reduce the distance to Shirdi by 70 km from South India.

He also assured a new train between Aurangabad and Delhi. However, in a surprising statement, the RM told Mr. Varma, "I will give whatever facilities required (to Marathwada) but do not demand the transfer of Nanded division to CR."

Mr. Varma also put forward the following demands:

1. Doubling and electrification of the MMR-MUE single track.
2. Railway University at Aurangabad.
3. Completion of the Daulatabad (Aurangabad)-Chalisgaon new railway line.

रेल मंत्री ने रोतेगाँव-कोपरगाँव नई रेल लाइन के लिए हामी भरी। NED डिवीज़न का "SCR" से "CR" में तबादला नहीं। AWB से NDLS के लिए नई ट्रेन का भरोसा दिलाया।

मराठवाडा रेल विकास समिति के अध्यक्ष श्री ओ.पी. वर्मा ने रेल मंत्री श्री सुरेश प्रभु से मुलाक़ात की और उन्हें खून से लिखा मांग पत्र सौंपा। विस्तृत चर्चा में रेल मंत्री ने रोतेगाँव-कोपरगाँव नई रेल लाइन का भरोसा दिलाया, यह जानकर कि इससे दक्षिण भारत से शिरडी की दूरी ७० किमी कम होगी।

उन्होंने औरंगाबाद और दिल्ली के बीच नई ट्रेन का भी भरोसा दिया। हालाँकि, एक (आश्चर्यजनक) बयान में रेल मंत्री ने श्री वर्मा से कहा, "मैं मराठवाड़ा को ज़रूरी सभी सुविधाएँ दूँगा, लेकिन नंदेड डिवीज़न का CR में तबादला माँगना नहीं चाहिए।"

श्री वर्मा ने ये माँगे भी रखीं:

१. MMR-MUE सिंगल ट्रैक का डबलिंग और विद्युतीकरण।
२. औरंगाबाद में रेलवे विश्वविद्यालय।
३. दौलताबाद (औरंगाबाद)-चालीसगाँव नई रेल लाइन का पूरा होना।

Sectional speed on the Aurangabad-Manmad section to increase up to 100-120 kmph. New facilities at Aurangabad Station.

SCR officials today told the media that the upgradation and strengthening work between Aurangabad-Manmad is in progress. Since the number of trains running on this section has increased recently, and more trains are proposed to run on this section, the supporting railway track must be strong enough to support high-speed trains. 45 km of the 113 km track is already upgraded. The rest of the work is going in full swing. This will increase the current sectional speed in this section from 75-80 kmph to 100-120 kmph. The travel time between MMR and AWB will reduce to 1-1.15 hrs from the current 2 hrs. Goods trains will also be allowed to run at 60-65 kmph.

SCR has also undertaken the following work:
1. Goods line at Tarur
2. 3 extra lines at Potul
3. RGM line at Nagarsol

SCR is also going to start station facilities upgradation work at AWB. AWB has received Rs. 10 crore in aid from the state tourism department. The following facilities will be added at Aurangabad:
1. Children's amusement park
2. Escalators
3. New VIP lobby and AC dormitory
4. Other public facilities

Aurangabad-Manmad section ki speed 100-120 kmph tak badhne wali hai. Aurangabad station pe nayi suvidhaen bhi.

SCR ke adhikariyon ne aaj media ko bataya ki Aurangabad-Manmad ke beech upgradation aur strengthening ka kaam chal raha hai. Is section pe trainon ki sankhya mein badhotari hui hai aur aur bhi trains chalane ki yojana hai, isliye track ko high speed trains ke liye mazboot karna zaroori hai. 113 km track mein se 45 km ka upgrade ho chuka hai. Baaki ka kaam joroon se chal raha hai. Isse is section ki speed 75-80 kmph se badhkar 100-120 kmph ho jayegi. MMR aur AWB ke beech safar ka samay 2 ghante se kam ho kar 1 se 1:15 ghante ka ho jayega. Goods trains bhi 60-65 kmph ki speed se chal payengi.

SCR ne yeh kaam bhi liye hain:

1. Tarur pe goods line
2. Potul pe 3 extra lines
3. Nagarsol pe RGM line

SCR Aurangabad station pe bhi suvidhaon ka upgradation ka kaam shuru karne wala hai. AWB ko state tourism department se 10 crore ki madad mili hai. Aurangabad mein yeh suvidhaen honge:

1. Bachchon ka amusement park
2. Escalators
3. Nayi VIP lobby aur AC dormitory
4. Aur bhi public facilities

NED-PNVL via AWB 4 times a week and NED-PNVL via PUNE 3 times a week soon. Informed by DRM NED to Marathwada Railway Vikas Samiti. Proposal is sent to RB for NED-SVDK via AWB and NED-BKN via AWB.

When the extension of NED-SRC EXP to AWB was demanded, he misinformed members that the rake of NED-SRC Exp is shared with OKHA-RMM exp. (which is wrong! Condemn! Condemn!!)

NED-PNVL हफ़्ते में 4 बार AWB से और NED-PNVL हफ़्ते में 3 बार पुणे से, जल्द ही। DRM NED ने मराठवाडा रेल्वे विकास समिती को बताया। NED-SVDK (AWB से) और NED-BKN (AWB से) के लिए प्रस्ताव RB को भेजा गया है।

जब NED-SRC EXP को AWB तक बढ़ाने की मांग की गई, तो उन्होंने सदस्यों को गुमराह किया कि NED-SRC EXP का रैक OKHA-RMM EXP के साथ शेयर किया जाता है (जोकि गलत है!! निंदनीय निंदनीय!!)

Ek purani photo, Aurangabad Railway Station pe Shiv Sena dwara 90s ke shuruat mein kiya gaya Rail Roko Andolan ki. Yeh MMR-KCG line ko MG se BG mein badalne ke liye tha.

FYI: Pehli AWB-CSTM BG train 1993 mein chali thi.

Loco shed pe dhyan do. Yeh Purna Loco Shed ka YDM 4A hai. SCR ne ye loco shed bekaran khatam kar diya tha. Is division mein loco failure ek common samasya hai ab.
