No news for NZB-MED Section
I don't think it will happen anytime soon. No matter what SCR brags on twitter, it's evident that they have least priority for SC-MMR section. The remaining electrification between LPJL-NZB could easily take around 2 years with the pace they are working. Until 2030 they'll electrify whole SC-NZB-NED-MMR section.
Foundation work completed till mamidipalli which is 15km away from Nizamabad junction. I saw today some poles are erected near mamidipalli & munipalli RUB
hope it gets finished by the end of this year.
Morthad to Nizamabad Electrification Target is June 2021. After this, they are going to start Nizamabad to Mudked Electrification & Jankampet to Bodhan. Target is March 2022.

SIr, Tenders have been called and work will be initiated in few Months.That is the reason its given electrification.
imo they shouldn't have updated this early.
When electrification started from medchal we thought that it is started for whole section till nzb....thats why

Bodhan Bidar Line has been on papers since a very long time. Surveys were conducted for both Bodhan-Bidar and Bodhan-Latur lines, however the feasibility results weren't released.
Will it be helpful? Definitely yes.
How? Peddapalli-Nizamabad line, Adilabad-Nizamabad Line (upcoming) will directly pave it's way into Karnataka.
Instead going for two separate lines why can't they opt for one line from Nizamabad joining some where at center between Latur road Bidar which is equidistant to both... And one bypass can be constructed which will be avoiding for Loco Reversal at that joining station..If 10 to 20 km more or less doesn't matters but investment for two seperate is loss I think..

Udgir - Nanded and Udgir - Bodhan two new lines will be better.
