My recent journey on the (Converted) Kanpur-Kathgodam Gareeb Rath. The train was relatively empty(around 70% occupancy). Maybe route should be changed back to via Rampur to increase PAX. Everything looks amazing in the rainy season 😍.
The Journey started at 6.35 am , 20 mins late from CNB on a wonderful monsoon morning with light drizzling rain and a cool breeze. View from the Ganga bridge was amazing. Journey till LKO was smooth and the train touched speeds upto 100 KMPH .

No. That is the line that comes under IZN division and is a single track. Doubling can be done between Bareilly Junction and bhojipura as there the track diverges into two parts , so as to enable timely operations.

and your wait after leaving LJN was due to non clearance of Down Main Line, since trains coming from LJN needs to cross the dwn Main Line to come onto Up LKO-MB Main Line. and all know that LKO pe morning me 12 bje tk DWN Main Line pe back to back trains chlti h
The track is already doubled, one track is BRY-BC by underpass.
Other is BE-BC by flyover, so it's doubled.
14307 tends to overtake Awadh Assam regularly.
Uski bhi long story hai. Pehle there was no track at underpass then NR used to make trains wait at BC since they didn't give clearance for their tracks . So doubling till BC is just by chance and not proper 'Doubling' By NER.
