As per an article yesterday, with so many cases of project delays in railways, PMO will now access railways portal to directly monitor projects. PMO raised concerns and intervened in certain ongoing projects of the railways such as the delays in the completion of the Dedicated Freight Corridors (DFC), station development, electrification, the Bullet train project, and signalling project, among others.
With the PMO now set to directly monitor all railway projects, the DRMs and GMs have been asked to check the project details personally, and have them updated regularly.

The one that leaves on Sunday (22607) reaches BAND on Monday & then leaves back again to reach ERS on Tues. This train then leaves as ERS-PNBE. Have seen sometimes they keep switching the rakes between ERS-Okha and ERS-PNBE.
That's too complicated.. Rsa over Rsa. And it's ICF 3500 km limits ers okha ers and ers Patna ers both overshoot this limit on top of that band exp. PM SM. But it seems this train definitely has constrains and can't be extended to anywhere .

Instead of idling at BAND, it can go to Shimoga/ Harihar and return by evening to continue as ERS SF. TT can be that of KCVL UBL. Can be a ERS SMET SF ERS dep 1700, BAND arr 0400, SMET arr 0945 and return dep SMET 1300, BAND dep 1900 ERS arr 0600.
Unable to understand the new line survey requirements. Even when you have a ready to use line, no trains are running to CMGR/ SMET. Where is the need for new lines?
All concerned should demand intra state trains from CMGR/ SMET to Hubli Belgaum Bijapur Ballari Hospet Kalaburgi Bidar Raichur etc. And interstate trains to Chennai Mumbai Tirupati Vizag etc.

I think it was via Kazipet. If I am not wrong, it had halts at Eluru, Vijayawada and Kazipet.
By shortest, if you mean in terms of rake length, then it's not unique. There have been many trains with 3 coach rakes.
A few years ago, the Indore-Bhopa Double decker was running with only 3 coaches (2 passenger coaches + EOG) before being cancelled.

Its via Vja Kazipet. Stoppages at Eluru snd Vja not sure of KZJ or WL. Used to leave Rjy at 500 Vja 710/30 SC 1200 return around 1600 runs 6 days at week with maintainance at SC. Started with 8 coaches reduced to 2 yet didn't find takers. Cancelled and Janmabhoomi was introduced to compensate loss of train to this region. There was a demand for reverse intercity from Vskp to Vja right from Ratnachal introduction in 1994
The timings itself were so bad especially that of SC - RJY.
And actually -Shatabdi between SC-RJY, even say SC-BZA would have failed around that 1999. It is well ahead of time considering the purchasing crowd in the area.
