Most of us want to see how Mumbai's AC local gets patronage during evening peak hour rush,... more...
especially when the train arrives at ever crowded Dadar station.
Here is the video of 6:09pm Borivali Fast AC local (not halting between ADH-BVI) arriving and departing from Dadar station. You can yourself see automatic doors open and close and patronage for this train
Fare needs to be slashed or at least fc fare for this train shuld be applicable. Or else no use of this ac train if nly few afford. Season tickets is more than 1.3x of fc fare ....almost 1.8x. dont knw hw they claom fare is 1.3x
There is also the matter of 'culture'. On the platform, there are fixed places for second class coaches and first class coaches. People wait for second class coaches in their areas and the first class commuters stand on their area (much smaller) on the platform. The AC train is one long train where commuters can enter from anywhere on the platform. So when the AC train pulls up the crowd near the doors mostly will be second class commuters
Kal virar se jab train chali to TT ka ek group pehle chara and puri train me wo log announce karte gaye ki jo bhi passengers without valid ticket milega use hefty fine plus fare difference ke saath paise dene hoge. Dekhte hai abhi to strict hai aage kya hoga pata nahi. Ek teacher ne to TT se jhagda bhi kiya iske bawajud ke uske pass valid ticket nahi tha AC TRAIN ME travel karne ke liye.
