Isn't RAC like a big scam for stealing money from passengers? Like, we all have probably experienced this issue at some point, but no one in the Railways or politicians ever question it. Maybe it's because they have the HO/MP quota that lets them travel comfortably, but hardly anyone seems to question it. I suggest either getting rid of it or adding a side middle berth in all trains that can be kept folded up and taken out when there's RAC. Until then, we passengers will just keep paying our fares and sitting uncomfortably until someone does something about it.

I understand your frustration with the RAC system on trains. It can be quite inconvenient for passengers, and it often goes unquestioned by the authorities. It seems that the presence of quotas for high-ranking officials and politicians allows them to travel comfortably, while the rest of us face difficulties. By the way, I've been asking them to give a slot from 9:30 to 9:45 for the past three years, and they gave it to 12581. And they used to tell me that there is no path availability and platform availability at NDLS. Blah blah... 20801 has been given 12581's slot at CNB, does that mean 20801 will become slower? Or will NCR kindly give 20801 the slot of 12581 :(
