Brother, SNCF had submitted detailed project report for HSR on Delhi-Chandigarh-Amritsar(Approx 450 kms) Route for 300-350 kmph operations with modern upgraded tracks and signalling system and Technology of Rolling stock at 61000 cr in 2015 almost half the price of Mumbai-Ahemdabad corridor.
I am not saying to go for 300-350kmph but IR should at least go for 200-250kmph.
IR had planned 'Vision 2020' in 2009 saying that India will have 4 HSR routes of total 2000kms by 2020.
