Farmers not ready to handover land for the Phaltan - Baramati project. It's likely to be cancelled. Instead of this NCP leader suggested RB for the survey of Pandharpur - Phaltan new line.

Inaguration of Phaltan - Lonand DEMU at Phaltan railway station.
Regular service will start from tomorrow.
DEMU will run on 6 days a week except Sunday for maintenance.
This train is inguarated by Madha MP Ranjit Singh Naik Nimbalkar, Vijay Singh Dada Mohite Patil, MLA Gore, Pune DRM etc.

No, it's a normal terrain.
As it's new line section MPS is 60 Kmph.

Very good finally something useful on new line, hope in future it will get extend to Baramati-Daund after new line completion.
People shoud 1st take ticket after arrival of demu at station and then they will rise to train which will take much time and so travel time can be more. Demu can't start still all people got ticket so long travel time may be there.
What is status of Phaltan to Baramati
CR carrying out many work in slow pace during this lockdown also, But there is no reporting or news about it.
Why Phaltan is tagged? No news about Phaltan in that picture.

A DEMU can be run between Pune - Phaltan. Are there any plans such ??
Mostly many new lines works start when land acquisition is complete.
Any work going on / started between Phaltan & Baramati ?
No, land capturing working for railway tracks not started till.
