They say Ganga is “PAVITRA”. But people nearby it are not at all. Nothing new about that “Uncivilized” area of the nation, but this changed my personal opinion and perspective about it. as well as scenic bridges. Similarly, I was also ready to capture skip video of a 2Kms Long, 59 Year old Rajendra Pul, over Ganga River in Bihar. The Bridge comes up immediately after leaving Hathidah Junction railway station. Me and my friend, Jeffin Philip and Many Others were enjoying the view of the bridge from the doors of the train, I was standing inside with my one hand outside holding my camera. Jeffin was standing ahead of me on the door plate with his hands having a strong grip on the Handles of the door to assure his safety. As soon as we were approaching the water bed of the river area, a stone, almost of the size of a cricket ball, hit my hand carrying my camera. The stone made a rough scratch on my hands and got hit on Jeffin’s Head. I Left the grip on my camera, since it was safe with Neck strap around my neck, and pulled Jeffin inside the Door passage. His head started Bleeding as the impact of the stone was hard. Seeing this, another of my friend Aaron Koli ran towards us for help and took Jeffin inside the coach for proper treatments. Firstly we thought it was a stone which came from the Road above the railway tracks, since it was a Road Cum Rail bridge. But after seeing the recorded footage a couple of times, I Found a guy hidden behind one of the member of the steel structure, and as soon as our door passed through him, the stone hit us. Later, some of our other friends told us that they saw some similar Guys from inside the train, having a bad full of stones to aim at the passengers’ devices like one of mine. If the guy had succeeded making my camera fall down the train, would not have got the camera properly due to huge height of the bridge. But even if he could have got 500 bucks from the damaged parts it would have been fun for him, irrespective of anyone’s life during such dangerous incident. On the one hand, people of our country revolt for development, and on the other hand, this type of Scums and bastards, spit on the modern facilities provided. Like, pelting stones on a Modern Rajdhani train, doesn’t even make them deserving for such facilities provided for their own development. No matter what, neither these uncivilized bastards will allow development to grow, and nor they deserve it. Hope this video and Article reaches the proper authorities such that they take proper action against these assholes. Be safe and be aware of such Bastards while traveling through this and nearby areas.
it was of no use pulling the chain midway on the bridge, the train wouldn't have stopped untill it crossed the bridge... Also we were not sure at that time from where the stone came, and were in little shock about the happened instance..
Kuch logo ki wajaj se 130 crores ko judge mat karo even now hamari country me bahur se acche log hai or aise bastards se to kai guna hai so wo lot deserve karte hai new facilites....but mujhe lagta hai facilites local passenger trains ko chodkar baki sabhi category ki trains me badaji chahiy3 kyuki in local trains me max log aise hote h jo unhe di ja rhi facilites ko apna man kr todte ya ghar le jate h
This is a good train, and I think that it could be easily speeded up, and convert it into super fast, (as there are only 9 stoppages in BTW). IR will get super fast charges and passengers will reach early

In Upcoming months new Bridge on Ganga just few meters parallel of Rajender Pul near Mokama It will be Double Deck Bridge for 4 lanes by Road and Double BG Tracks firstly it will be Single Line... Project Worl to be started in May-June after the Inauguration by Honourable Prime Minister of India Shree Narendra Modi And after sometime a new bridge project... more...
for only Roads also starts which is another side of Rajender Pul (BTPS side) Means 3 Bridges total and Parallel of average 900 Meters Importance of Bridge single line from BJU to PNBE-KIUL side plus NH31 only 2 lane, the two new bridge were of jo use right now bcoz of long route, Rajender Pul is an important bridge joins the Bihar from north to south as well as Bridge us the Lifeline of North Bihar to Bihar Industrial Town Barauni also known as Industrial Capital of Bihar IOCL-BTPS-SUDHA-BATA-NFL etc and more industry there.... NOTE New Rail Bridge will not connected to HTZU/HTZ from BJU side it will not go to Rajender pul, it will divide at Chakia Thermal Halt and after bridge it will again divide and two line will go to Kiul side with meeting with current single track and for Patna side it will join Mainline after Tall Junction or may be at Mokama, there will be a new Railway Station after Bridge ends toward BJU side like RJO for loops, the name is not yet fixed it may be Barauni Thermal Power Station or it may be Barauni Town... After this new lines and bridge no congestion at BJU from this side, freight moment faster and there will be more MEMU trains plying from MKA-SPJ etc... Wo to hai hi sabhi mail/exp/sf Rajdhani ko chor kar mka-rjo-htz rukegi hi Mai to ye bhi soch raha hu Ardh me log asnan kaise karengender Pehle to ganaga pani se bhara rehta tha par ab 1/4 hi bhara rehta hai
