If they proceed their works at fast pace .then probably electrification might be completed at time.

But the problem is they won't work at a fast pace. SBC-MYS electrification was announced in 2008 budget u can see the "speed" of our Indian Railways.
Exclusive Aerial Video of Relocation!!!!
Tipu Sultan’s armoury at Srirangapatna relocated to another site to pave way for the completion of the Bengaluru-Mysuru rail track doubling work.
The track doubling work had been hampered as Tipu's Armoury, a protected monument of Department of Archeology, sat in the spot where the second rail track was to be constructed.
With the Union government sanctioning Rs
13 crores for the translocation of the armoury, completion of the railway track is expected to be speeded up.
The shifting process taken up by South Western Railway through M/S PSL -Wolfe (JV) under supervision by Department of Archeology.

It's quite normal for ancient structures like this. We don't have the technology to do such tasks by ourselves, in India. Moving old temples and monuments usually costs several million dollars. Part of the reason for the higher cost is the liability for the company doing the job. The move has to be very precise as it should not damage the building at all ( no room for error) . Such precision necessitates the higher costs.

Yesterday i travelled to Mysuru by 56232 and returned by 16557. The ongoing doubling near Srirangapatna is in full swing as new two platforms are getting ready and line work on the north bridge of river Kaveri is ready on one track and almost complete on second track. The shifting of armory may take 2 months in my view. The great disappointment is with regard to RE work. Laying of poles is going on between Yeliyur and Mysuru. The power station at Yaliyur is yet to be completed. The RE work on the second line between Yaliyur outer to Byadrahalli outer towards MYS yet to start. In MYS poles have been laid at PF 4,5 and digging work going on PF 1,2 and 3.In my assessment the work may be over by June 2017. A photo of DL near Srirangapatna is enclosed

No Sir. The MP who promised to run this train from Dasara is keeping quite and MPs from Bengaluru are also silent about this.

sir why cant we approach SWR directly or put pressure on them or petition them instead of using MP MLA route. SWR is already donating rakes to other cities by running spls and hope thy first listen to demands from people of their zone..
