Tree fall delays trains by more than 4 hours
Sakleshpur (Hassan dist): The rail traffic on Mangaluru-Yeshwantpur route was affected for more than four hours as a huge tree fell on the tracks between Sakleshpur and Subrahmanya Road stretch, near Shiravagilu in the taluk on Monday.

Something that is needed. On other hand,i feel that one Bengaluru-Karwar/Kannur train should be separated and one should run via new line and other one existing line.

it'll be better if they send some 2-4 coaches from MYS to KAWR with MYS-DWR express till Hassan and from there it can go to KAWR with the diverted 16523/4

The chance of bifurcation is very less. About time change SR may say no slot available at MAQ due to Ernad/CBE FP/ MAO ICE etc leaving around that time.
