Vande Bharat (VB) trains turn out to be the contemporary version of Shatabdi trains meant for premium intercity travel, and VMs being unreserved AC trains turn out to be nothing but modern AC MEMUs?
What about the most widely accepted form of reserved intercity and janshatabdi trains? No contemporary trainset versions for them?

Due to engineering works at Valsad, on 21/12/24 & 23/12/24 some Mail/Exp trains will be regulated, and train no. 09152 Surat - Valsad will be Short-Terminated at Bilimora Jn. As a result, Train no. 09153/54 (Umbargam Rd-Valsad-Umbargam Rd) will remain fully canceled on 21/12/24 & 23/12/24. A list of regulated trains is available at the Station Master's office. Inconvenience caused to passengers is regretted.
