By now, they should have learned the lesson. Every new line must be a double. Why, every Metro line constructed in all of the cities are double. Why should railways think otherwise? If IR is driver of the economy, why just single line? Take cue from NHAI -- think big, and work big, it will grow on you. We are not in controlled regime. Make everything you do double. Who knows in future you will need to double that!
Electrification should also have been done so that Vande Bharat Express could be extended till Srinagar.
