March 2025. Work includes bridge upgrades (Bridge No. 61 in Kandivli), cable relocation, and mast shifting. The fifth line (bidirectional) is already operational. The sixth line's construction progressed in phases: 9 km (Bandra Terminus to Goregaon) completed in November 2023, and 4.5 km (Goregaon to Kandivli) in October 2024. This project will free up space on suburban fast lines by diverting mail/express trains, improving punctuality, and allowing for additional suburban services. The new elevated booking office at Kandivli station is ready to open.

Chhathi line ka kaam phases mein hua: 9 km (Bandra Terminus se Goregaon) November 2023 mein complete hua, aur 4.5 km (Goregaon se Kandivli) October 2024 mein. Yeh project suburban fast lines pe space free karega mail/express trains ko divert karke, punctuality improve karega, aur additional suburban services add karne mein madad karega. Kandivli station pe nayi elevated booking office open hone ke liye ready hai.
