USBRL project pura 272 kilometer lamba hai aur yeh 2005-06 mein start hua tha. September tak yeh project pura ho jaayega. The Chenab Bridge, built over the Chenab River gorge in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir, stands taller than the Eiffel Tower in Paris at a height of 359 meters. Construction works for the USBRL project are nearing completion with only tunnel No. 1 partially unfinished. A two-day inspection of the 46-km Sangaldan-Reasi section of the USBRL, including the Chenab Bridge, is scheduled for June 27th and 28th by the Railways Safety Commissioner D.C. Deshwal. The inspection is part of the final preparations for the section's commissioning.

Vande Bharat sleeper trains, long-distance journeys ke liye comfortable hai, aur inme chair-seating wali trains se zyada comfort hai. Is 100-din ke plan mein August 2026 tak bullet train equipment procure karne ka process bhi complete karna hai. Isme government ka rolling stock production ke liye budget bhi included hai, jo ki Rs 1 lakh crore se zyada hai.
