KOLKATA: Booking for much-awaited 'Maitree Express' between India and Bangladesh started on Friday at Fairlie Place Reservation office here. Tickets for the journey would be available at Foreign Tourist Passenger Reservation Counter from 10 am to 5 pm on week days, an Eastern Railway release said. On Sundays and national holidays, booking would be available between 10 am and 2 pm, it said. Tickets for journey from Kolkata to Dhaka could be booked 10 days in advance excluding the day of journey and booking of tickets would be closed at 3 pm on previous day of departure of the train. There is no provision for return journey tickets, the release said. Tickets will be issued only on production of valid documents like passport, visa for all passengers, including children below five years of age, it said.

Manasi Banerjee, one of the senior-most employees of Container Corporation of India Ltd (CONCOR) flagged off the trial run of the first container train between India and Bangladesh on Tuesday in presence of Harindra Rao, General Manager, Eastern Railway, Shri Kalyan Rama, CMD, CONCOR (Container Corporation of India Ltd.)
The first container train to Bangladesh consisting of 30 wagons, will carry 60 containers of soyabean extract and will run via Majerhat-Naihati-Ranaghat-Gede in India and Darsana-Ishurdi-Bangabandhu West in Bangladesh. Bangabandhu West in Bangladesh is 117 kms from Dhaka but much closer to industrial hubs around Dhaka.
The exact location/station of the Container hub is Brace Bridge. It is the next station of Majerhat on Budge Budge side. I have posted few pics of the Container hub in Brace Bridge station forum page.
