Gorakhpur-Gomtinagar Express, and the Lucknow-Chhapra express were canceled. 64 other trains, including the Vaishali, Bihar Sampark Kranti, and Saptakranti express, were diverted to alternate routes. This disruption caused significant inconvenience to travelers in Sahjanwa, Magahar, Khalilabad, and Basti. The interlockings and electronic panels at Domingarh station were completed on Sunday afternoon, and the track was tested from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. After testing the signals, a freight train was run from each direction, confirming the proper functioning of the auto-block signaling system between Domingarh and Chureb. All train services on the route are expected to resume their normal schedule on Monday.
