The competing unions are: North Central Railway Employees Union, North Central Railway Men's Union, North Central Railway Karmachari Sangh, Swaraj Railway Bahujan Karmachari Union, and Uttar Madhyam Railway Karmachari Sangh. A union needs 30% of the total votes or 35% of valid votes to secure recognition. Counting will be on December 12th. The North Central Railway Workers Union endorsed the Swaraj Railway Bahujan Karmachari Union.
