Sharma, a resident of Sajoi village (Jansa), reached the railway crossing near Banakat on Sunday morning. Eyewitnesses reported that he was walking around on the edge of the tracks. When a train approached from Varanasi to Bhadohi, he jumped in front of it, resulting in his death. Lohta's Akelwa outpost in-charge arrived at the scene, and the deceased's identity was confirmed using a mobile phone found in his pocket. His father, Ramchandra Sharma, stated that Rinku had been mentally unstable and was undergoing treatment for it. Rinku was married and had a son.
