Objections are currently being invited. The proposed Anandnagar-Ghughli railway line will be electrified and include nine large and fourteen small bridges. A total of 194 hectares of land will be acquired across 53 villages. Seven stations are planned: Anandnagar, Maharajganj, Ghughli (crossing station), and halt stations at Persiya Buzurg, Pakri Naunia, Shikarpur, and Pipra Munderi.
