These trains will not stop at Tatanagar. The Buxar and Katihar trains will return to Tatanagar on March 13th. To manage the expected crowds, platform ticket sales at Tatanagar will be temporarily suspended for an hour around Bihar-bound train departures starting March 10th. A team of 16 supervisors will manage crowds and assist passengers. RPF personnel will also help maintain order. The ACM inspected Tatanagar station to assess arrangements.

These diversions have caused inconvenience for hundreds of passengers traveling to and from the affected stations. Additionally, due to line block in Adra, the Tatanagar-Hatia Express will run via Chandil, Muri, and Gunda Bihar stations instead of Purulia on August 7th and 10th.
