Division Parliamentary Committee meeting. He mentioned that the meeting discussed extending the Ranchi-Chopan Express train route to Singrauli and Shaktinagar. The washing line pit line and sick line constructed in Chopan have been completed and tested, yet Chopan Railway Station is not being used as a terminal station. He requested the extension of the route of the Singrauli-Bhopal and Singrauli-Nizamuddin trains, currently running from Singrauli, to Chopan station. He also urged for the operation of the Chunar-Barwadih Passenger train as a MEMU train. Approval has been received for the construction of an underpass at pole number 168/4 on the Anpara-Mirchadhuri rail route, to be completed in 2024-25. He urged that the work be started promptly.

They also called for the extension of the Singrauli-Bhopal and Singrauli-Nizamuddin Express routes to Chopan and the introduction of a MEMU train for the Chunar-Barwadih passenger train. Furthermore, they requested the immediate commencement of construction of an underpass at pillar number 168/4 on the approved Unpara to Mirchadhuri railway line. Separately, residents met with the DRM Dhanbad and Railway Board officials in Shaktinagar, raising concerns about the lack of utilization of the Chopan station as a terminal station despite its completion, the lack of action taken on the promises made at the January 19th divisional committee meeting, and the need for improvements in passenger facilities. They specifically requested the reinstatement of the Intercity service between Shaktinagar and Varanasi, operating from Shaktinagar at 10 pm and arriving in Varanasi at 4 am. Other demands included adjusting the operating time of the Triveni Express running between Shaktinagar and Lucknow to leave Shaktinagar at 8 pm and arrive in Lucknow at 8 am, linking the Jabalpur Intercity to Shaktinagar, introducing a new train from Shaktinagar to Delhi, constructing a flyover in Chilkadand, providing lifts for the disabled and elderly at the station, and repairing and widening the road connecting Shaktinagar railway station to the main road.

He demanded that the route of the Singrauli-Bhopal and Singrauli-Nizamuddin trains originating from Singrauli be extended to Chopan station. He also requested that the Chunar-Barwadih passenger train, known as the “Garib ki Railgadi”, be operated as a MEMU train. Lekin itna bada investment, almost 15 crore rupees, karne ke baad bhi Chopan railway station ko terminal station ke roop mein use nahi kiya ja raha hai. Unhone demand ki ki Singrauli se chalne wali Singrauli-Bhopal aur Singrauli-Nizamuddin train ka route Chopan station tak extend kiya jaaye. Unhone yeh bhi kaha ki Garib ki Railgadi, Chunar-Barwadih passenger train, ko MEMU train ke roop mein chalaaya jaaye.
