But nowadays I observed even KSRTC is down, people are able to afford car and more reliable on self transport, rather than any mode of public transport post pandemic.
But KSRTC is stopping raiI projects in KT. Even doubIing projects are being hampered with. SBC-BAY buses nos reduced after GC of SBC-GY-BAY Iine was done in 1991-92. Now SBC-BAY buses nos further reduced post doubIing of SBC-HUP-DMM-GY Iine
KSRTC is able to stall running of proper trains in Bangalore Mangalore and Mangalore Hubli sectors. If a good train runs in Bangalore Mangalore sector, atleast 150 KSRTC buses and another 60-70 private buses will go off the road. Atleast 20-25 buses will be out in Hubli sector.
When railways increased number of trains in Bangalore Mysore route, almost all KSRTC buses became empty.
Again same fate in Ballari, Bijapur, Belgaum sector also.

For passenger pocket friendly bus services, one should go to Tamilnadu buses. They may not look good, but provide excellent connection for entire state.
For day and night and punctual services across the state, one should learn from Kerala KSRTC.
All APSRTC buses are fitted with GPS.
None of these can be claimed by Karnataka KSRTC. Just having more volvo buses does...

Especially this route seems to be least priority in KA. Other route being falling on prime route, has more priority, this one may take another decade to complete.
