IRCTC guest house located besides the station building pf1 is a good alternative if you plan early. AC/Non AC dormitory , family room and double room available. IRCTC food plaza is also there just next to it. Registration slip ( yatra parchi) for visiting vaisno devi shrine can be obtained from station main entrance pf1.
Food here is pure veg ( no onion garlic) as is the case with most of the restaurants in the town.

At Ban Ganga Check post, for returning to hotel the auto walas will take more money because now they follow different route for returning as the lane used for Going to ban ganga is now 1 way (on my time) and for returning they follow long route which is nearby to tunnel/bridge of new railway line from katra to banihal..

For Ropeway service from Bhawan to BhairoNath is now available and it operates from morning 8 am with both going/returning ticket..
Line for ropeway will start from 6 am nearby and one person one ticket is allowed, at counter you have to tell your name..
And in a single Ropeway they fill around 40-45 people at a time which hardly take 1 min to reach BhairoBaba from Bhawan..
Ticket price was 100 for both up and down journey
Only 2 ropeway available both goes up and down at different different time interval
The ropeway looks like similar to hollywood/bollywood movies shooted in Europe as yellow frame with black windows 😁
But if you thinking for fun in it , leave that because you have to stand there and too many people were in it similar to rajiv chowk metro station 😂
But in return its almost empty sometimes and sometimes 2-3 people 😁
Really it was nice thing that they built that because many people don't go for Bhairo Baba and get back to home from Bhawan Darshan..
Well SHRINE BOARD also planning for direct battery car from Ban Ganga to Bhawan via Tarakote new trek and bypassing trek of adhkuwari..
It was opposed by Pitthoo walas, ghode walas because it will decrease the demand for them and increase unemployment ..
Hence step was taken back but m sure it will be back soon
