Ayyo! I hopped on this train. Perfect for a trip from Mumbai to Delhi. It's freakin' fast, almost like Rajdhani. The 3A ticket is 1610 bucks, way cheaper than Rajdhani which goes up to 3085. Plus, they got a pantry car. Hardly any stops. Almost 80 percent of the seats were taken in Bandra itself. They give out bedrolls. And you'll get dinner and breakfast in the morning.

Coach Condition: The 2S coach in this train is mad comfortable, bro. The seats face each other and there's plenty of legroom. Railways should make more coaches like this. My coach was D3, made in 2018, and all the 2S coaches had the same setup. There was one charging point for every 6 seats and the luggage rack was big enough for a medium-sized bag. 2. Cleanliness and Maintenance: The coaches were hella clean and well-taken care of. The toilets were decent. 3. Punctuality: This train is on time, man. We left 8 minutes late 'cause someone pulled the emergency chain, but we only arrived 13 minutes late. It goes fast after Virar. 4. Food: I brought my own food, so I didn't try the onboard stuff. There's no pantry, but there are vendors selling stuff like idli, vada, cutlets, samosas, chai, and water. 5. Ticket Availability: The train is hella popular, so getting tickets might be hard on holidays, weekends, and Mondays. If you book 15 days in advance, you should be good. 6. Unreserved Coaches: The unreserved coaches are at the end of the train. Since it's an intercity train, lots of people illegally hop on the 2S coach and chill in the corridor. 7. Railfanning: If you're into train spotting, this is a solid train, especially in the non-AC coaches. It goes fast after Virar and the sounds of the tracks are pretty chill. It usually has a WAP-7 as the front engine. Even though there were people in the corridor of my 2S coach without tickets, it didn't cause any problems. Yeh ek achha arrangement hai aur Railways ko aise LHB 2S coach banana chahiye is layout ke saath. Mera coach D3 tha jo 2018 mein bana tha lekin maine notice kiya ki sabhi 2S coaches mein yahi arrangement tha. Har 6 seat ke bay mein ek charging point tha. Top luggage rack medium sized trolley bag ke liye kafi wide tha.

2. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Coaches bahut saaf aur well maintained the. Toilets satisfactory condition mein the.

3. Punctuality: Yeh ek punctual train hai jo route par ache priority ke saath chalti hai. Hum BDTS se 8 mins late nikle (departure par Chain Pulling ki wajah se) aur Bilimora pahunchte waqt 13 mins ki delay thi. Virar ke baad train bahut achhi speed me chalti hai.

4. Food: Maine ghar ka khana lekar gaya tha aur isliye on-board food try nahi kiya. Pantry nahi hai lekin vendors Idli Chutney, Medu Vada Chutney, Veg Cutlet, Khaman, Chai aur Paani bech rahe hain.

It's kinda better now with a new bridge from Khar Road station straight to Bandra Terminus. So skip Bandra suburban station - hop off at Khar Road. If you don't wanna walk, grab an auto from Khar Road or Bandra. 2. Bridge/Subway Access: The foot over bridge on the Dadar side only covers PF 6 and 7. It's a mess and doesn't even lead you straight out. Use the subway instead on the Borivali side. It links all platforms and the main exit way better. 3. Waiting area and seats: Chill spot and retiring rooms are by the main entrance on the Borivali side of PF 1. Plenty of chairs in the common seating area too. 4. Buggy Service: Three buggies at your service parked near the main entrance by PF 1. They swing by when the train rolls in. Chill if they're full - they make multiple trips. Costs 40rs/passenger with an 8kg bag free allowance, 20rs/luggage. 5. App based taxis: Ola and Uber got your back - use 'em from the main exit near PF 1 for an easy pickup/drop. Autorickshaws and yellow taxis will hit you hard in the pocket. 6. Cleanliness: Surprisingly clean and well-kept when I visited in 2022. 7. Raat mein kuch baar train derailed hone lage aisa lagta tha jerks ki wajah se. Agar comfort chahiye toh bhai please is train ka ticket mat book karna. Main ek baar lower berth pe tha aur doosri baar side upper berth pe. Lower berth ka safar bahut hi unpleasant tha.
3. Speed: Jab main is train mein safar karne ki yaad karta hoon, toh "Blaster" shabd dimag mein aata hai. Ahmedabad chhodne ke baad, yeh rocket ki tarah stations ko chhod kar nikal jaati hai.
