Yo, when you're going from Ahmedabad to Varanasi or Mughalsarai, there's this PQ thing called pooled quota. If you wanna increase your chances of getting confirmed tickets, book till Buxar, Danapur or Patna. Then you'll score seats in the GEN, aka General Quota. Just scored confirmed seats for my journey on August 6th till Buxar, heading to Varanasi.

1. Tickets and availability: Even in peak season, you can count on scoring tickets for this train. I rode during Christmas and got my hands on tickets no prob. The timetable is a bit funky 'cause it hits ADI at like 1:10 AM, which puts some folks off, leaving spots for others to cop.
2. Coaches and Comfort: On this 6 hour 40 minute journey, I didn't catch a wink of sleep. Big ups to the coaches for giving me a rollercoaster ride with all the vibrations and jerks. I legit thought we derailed a few times at night. If you're after comfy vibes, skip booking this one. I tried chilling on the lower berth and side upper berth - lower berth was a real bummer.
3. Speed: This train's a total "Blaster". It moves like a rocket once it leaves Ahmedabad. Railfans dig this action, but even die-hard fans need their Zzz's at night, which get disrupted by the crazy speed and jolting coaches. Speed's where this train shines - hitting a solid 100 km/h consistently.

Bhai, yeh tip mera Ahmedabad se Mumbai ke beech ke safar pe based hai.
1. Tickets aur availability: Chahe kitni bhi bheed ho, isme tickets mil hi jaate hain. Main Christmas season mein gaya tha toh tickets mil gaye. Train ka sabse bada advantage aur disadvantage yeh hai ki woh ADI pe raat ko 1:10 baje pahunchti hai, jiski wajah se log avoid karte hain aur dusron ke liye tickets milte hain.
2. Coaches aur Comfort: Mere 6 ghante 40 minute ke safar mein main ek minute bhi nahi soya. Saara credit vibrations aur jerks wale coaches ko jata hai. Raat mein kuch baar train derailed hone lage aisa lagta tha jerks ki wajah se. Agar comfort chahiye toh bhai please is train ka ticket mat book karna. Main ek baar lower berth pe tha aur doosri baar side upper berth pe. Lower berth ka safar bahut hi unpleasant tha.
3. Speed: Jab main is train mein safar karne ki yaad karta hoon, toh "Blaster" shabd dimag mein aata hai. Ahmedabad chhodne ke baad, yeh rocket ki tarah stations ko chhod kar nikal jaati hai. Railfan hone ke bawajood, raat mein bhi comfort chahiye hota hai jo blasting speed aur coach ki geometry se bigad jaata hai. Speed mein yeh train kabhi disappoint nahi karti. Lagatar 100 km/h ke speed pe chalti rahti hai.

Ahmedabad Junction, more popularly known as Kalupur Railway Station, offers ample transit facilities to almost all parts of the city.

Two categories of buses operate in Ahmedabad: AMTS and BRTS.

AMTS buses run from approximately 5:30 AM to 11 PM. The Kalupur AMTS terminal is to the right of the entry gate, near the unreserved booking office. The Sarangpur AMTS terminal is also within walking distance from the exit gate, near the PRS counter (north end of the station). Many routes serve all parts of the city; AMTS controllers/locals can guide you. (P.S.: Controllers may be a bit rude.)

BRTS is a more convenient and comfortable option. BRTS buses going towards Sarangpur even enter the station and stop at the BRTS stand inside. Currently, due to renovation work, buses are not entering the station. There is a second stop for buses coming from Sarangpur, opposite the station's entry gate.

If a direct bus is unavailable, purchase a direct ticket and change buses at crossover points.

The central bus station is at Geetamandir, and auto-rickshaws are available there.

Besides scheduled transit services, Ola, Uber, Rapido, Jugnoo, and local auto-rickshaws offer ample service with pickup/drop points inside the station.

Ahmedabad mein do tarah ki buses chalti hain: AMTS aur BRTS.

AMTS subah 5:30 baje se raat ke 11 baje tak chalti hain. Kalupur AMTS terminal entry gate ke daaye taraf, unreserved booking office ke paas hai. Aur Sarangpur AMTS terminal bhi exit gate ke paas, PRS counter (station ke north end) se thodi hi doori par hai. Bahut saare routes hain jo shahar ke sabhi hisson mein jaate hain. BRTS zyada convenient aur comfortable option hai. Sarangpur jaane wali BRTS buses station ke andar aa kar station ke andar hi BRTS stand par rukti hain. Abhi renovation ka kaam chal raha hai isliye buses station ke andar nahi aa rahi hain. Sarangpur se aane wali buses ka ek aur stop station ke entry gate ke bilkul samne hai.
