Punctuality factor is true but rest is false.
This Journey Turned Out To Be A Nightmare. The Worst Train Journey In Last 5 Years. It Maintained Its Schedule Till ASN. From There It Started Getting Delayed. Reached PNBE & MGS 1 Hr Behind Schedule. As We Woke Up In The Morning, We Learned That The Train Is Running 4 Hours Late. And Since Then It Never Behaved Like A "Super Fast". Reached NDLS At 12 Noon. Pantry Staffs Are Worst Of All. Through Out The Journey, They Only Offered TEA & No Coffee. Even There Wasnt Biscuits With Tea Even Though They Charged INR 10/- . Even On Board House Keeping Staffs Were Not As Efficient As In Gyaneshwari Or Gitanjali

Don't worry I am with you. I have faced same problem with 12304 a little year ago. I would like to mention you that 12381/12382 Poorva Express via Gaya is more Punctual than 12303/12304 Poorva Express via Patna.

To be honest, I'd prefer 12303 over 12273, as 12273 has less stops but appears to behind Poorva throughout the journey judging by time.

(Duronto has 5 stops - Poorva has 23. If you think about it. it should enough time to overtake, but Poorva remains ahead throughout)

This train is the only train between khajuraho, chhatarpur, tikamgarh to delhi its the lifeline of this region but a real nightmare for many people as it has pathetic time table on top of that it gets delayed very often almost every other day it reaches it destination half an hour or 1 hour late , also it is running with icf coaches the condition of the rake is very poor very bad maintenance by khajuraho even in ac coaches cleanliness is not maintained, its coach composition is also not good as it has more than enough general coaches and very less reserved coaches it leads to the situation of overcrowding in ac and sleeper coaches as many people want to book tickets in reserved coaches but due to unavailability they travel in reserved coaches with wl tickets harassing other people who have confirmed ticket they can be solved very easily...

if ncr attaches 2 ac coaches and 2 sleeper coaches in it by eliminating 4 gs coaches, also as this train doesn't have pantry many unauthorised vendor come and sell food items even in ac coaches when ask them about their id as they claim to be of side panty they run away, however ac coaches condition is still better bedroll is neat and clean, blankets are also provided for towel you have to ask to the attendant
In conclusion this train is not good it needs many improvement including lhbfication and speed up of time table in my opinion if you have choice, luxury of traveling in other train please go with them don't book in this train even as a resident of Khajuraho I don't prefer it instead going by chain is much better and less time consuming and comfortable hope ncr takes note of it and improve this train as everyday complaints about this train as raised to drmjhansi but till now no real action has been taken.

No for gita jayanti but a yes for 19666 as gj is dedicated to kurj also gets filled very well but 19666 can surely be extended to rewa it will be a welcoming step as it will boost occupancy significantly but yes kurj ka rlwl quota hona Chahiye 😎 gita jayanti ko extend karna hai to Chandigarh much better hai as gj ki problem occupancy nahi hai but maintenance aur ghatiya time table hai

Kurukshetra Khajuraho Express is proposed to be extend upto Manikpur and Chandigarh bypassing lalitpur and Khajuraho.
They have planned it via Jhansi Mahoba Chitrakoot.
Maybe because of some constraints decision is not implemented yet.

I know you are fan of Khajuraho, and may sound offensive but railways have itself admitted occupancy issues of KURJ-UDZ ICE and Gita Jayanti Express are been planning to extend it upto Manikpur Jn.
Non of the Khajuraho bound trains are getting occupancy from Khajuraho all traffic is from Chhatarpur, Tikamgarh and other parts of Bundelkhand.
Tourist ke naam par jo trains bheji jaati hai KURJ, unmein koi nahi jaata, tourist visit through package planning which includes Jhansi-Orcha-Khajuraho-Panna National Park.

There's nothing to laugh, proposals are already dropped for extension.
It's the only train who has degraded itself and is the slowest in VGLB-NDLS section.
Even a soft speedup Can be easily sent to Chandigarh.

Kurj udz express is not running empty it has gained more and more occupancy after covid that's a fact you can see the charts for yourself but yes its occupancy in kurj agc section is not good from agc to udz it runs jam packed even ac coaches of this train are fully occupied

I'm very well aware of the stats of this train I'm a frequent traveller of this train between Jhansi and Jaipur/Ajmer. It's true it's packed between Agra abd Udaipur but simultaneously the reserved classes are also empty after jhansi.
Diverting it on the route to Manikpur would surely boost the train patronage.
19666/65 is a rare example or train which was downgraded from Superfast to Mail/Express category.

One of the best train if you want to travel from khajuraho, mahoba,kulpahar,jhansi,gwl,agc to Rajasthan it is also my personal favourite train its coaches are also good cleanliness is also good especially in ac class in sl its above average, you can easily get tickets in its ac classes even in the time of festivals but quite tough for sleeper, it has side panty services which is located in b6 they sell good food but overcharge for literally everything however if you complain about it on 139 they get you food at the original costs , punctuality is also phenomenal considering its a mail, express train and gets trolled in ncr region reaches kurj almost on time all in all a really good train and a real example of how remote regions can have dedicated trains with good occupancy

Extension is necessary in both directions especially from kurj side but as kurj sta line isn't completed its good to run till kurj only for the time being the rake can be used to run kurj agc/mtj sf express via mba it will provide an alternative to Gita jayanti, and asv extension will also provide an alternative to bju adi express which runs jam packed throughout the year

I traveled in 22412 last weekend (ANVT- Katihar)..
Some observations:
Priority - Get super priority b/w ANVT-CNB.. Ok-ok b/w CNB-LKO.. Good priority in ECR.. 7/10
Food - Pantry is good.. They serve different type of food items. Including paneer pakoda, chowmein etc. 8/10

- Cleanliness at the time of departure from ANVT was good. But no OBHS team available in this train. So I'll give only 5/10 marks in cleanliness.. Next morning after GKP train's condition get worse..
Ticket checking - Ticket checking was done after ANVT and again next morning after CPR. So that was good.. Safety- 8/10
