Do not try the prepaid cabs as they are way too costly. Also while using regular cabs, ask them if they are going by meter or not, if they refuse to, please find another cabs. You will definitely find a cab who will go by meter even at 3 in the morning.

dadar is the station where both Central line and Western Line are joined connected by footover bridge .Both CR and WR have common station premises.Hence to differentiate,Dadar Central(DR) is called for trains running on Central Line and Dadar Western(DDR) is called for trains running on Western Line.it has good ac waiting hall,second class waiting halls at platform 8 with good restaurants,food stalls,CLOAK room just beside entrance at pf8.
Dadar Terminus is situated at Central Line of the station.Pl.7 and 8 on CR side are terminal stations.It is used for trains which are terminating/orignating from Dadar(Central line station) like 12051 Dadar-Madgoan Janshatabdi,12163 Dadar-Chennai and on dadar western(DDR) line 12490 dadar to bikaner,12990 dadar to ajmer exp depart or terminate
