Station tip.Amenities.Palasa is not a very big station it has amenities like RO water machines,Food stalls,books stalls,waiting room.Cashew nuts of good quality are sold at reasonable price.

Palasa is actually a reasonably big railway station lying in the border of Orissa-Andhra and is served by a decent number of trains...
Only the bigshots like Coromandel etc do not stop here...
There are similar railway station which have been developed, for example I was pleasantly surprised by the developments that have come up in Gomoh Junction railway station.....

It is unfair to compare Palasa with the three biggest railway stations on the Howrah Madras route...
if u got enough time then buy cashews from here ,cheap and pure &tasty cashews
I find the cashews in the west coast in places like Kollam,Madgaon etc. of better flavor and texture than the east coast ones. East coast ones are of much inferior quality as told by a cashew exporter.
