Often these days, the first news of a new Special train is announced in newspapers with only the Starting & Terminating stations, Source Departure Time, Destination Arrival Time, Start & End Dates of Run, and Departure Days. The full TT is usually not available with such advance notices.

we CAN UPDATE the TT, even though the full TT with intermediate station Halt times is not available yet. The full TT can be updated whenever it becomes available.

Pl. confirm such TL Entries, after checking that the minimal details correspond to that given in the News article. ALSO, pl. DO mention in the Latest field that the train is NOT non-stop, but that the full TT will soon be uploaded.

We do need to add the note in the Latest field that the full TT is soon upcoming. Whatever mechanism we currently have to remember to add the train when full TT is available, the SAME mechanism can be used to remember to update the partial TT when the full TT becomes available. The Pending Trains list can be revamped so that TLMs can manually add Trains with partial TTs, which are supposed to be updated later.

The important advantage here is such Trains will start to appear in Search results...

at least between the End Stations, and passengers can start making plans to use that train. Otherwise, many travellers will lose the opportunity to use the special trains, and make alternative plans, only to regret later.
