In that case, I would like to highlight a bug.
I tried to manually update location. When I clicked BKI it asked for pf. I entered pf no, but it seemed it never accepted.

That's not a bug.While doing trip diary the PF# shown are linked to original train tt.Now if you update Platform Number a TimeLine Entry is generated which is needed to be authorized by a TL Monitor.
It will get reflected only if a TL Monitor Confirms it.
